 We checked in at the start of the class - some folks still need those binders!

We talked about the Handsworth Writing Lab, and clarified any questions students had - many will be going there in the next couple of days to have a look, and get a bit of help with their writing. 

• If you received a message from me recommending you head to the HWL, regardless of outside tutoring help etc. please leverage this excellent opportunity to improve your work within the school environment. - There are times when students will be able to work on in-class writing there, which is not possible with tutors, or at extracurricular learning services.
   

Students had 10-15 minutes to continue their work on the first chapter of the text.

We listened to Chapter Two, and students spend the remainder of the class finishing the first package of work. Students worked incredibly well!

Those who missed today's class should pop into tutorial tomorrow to continue the work - the door is open at 8:30.
